The Committee are sad to report that Jackie Maull passed away on Saturday 25 January 2025. Jackie was the league's camera operator for a number of years before stepping down from the role last year. We send our condolences to Jackie's family and friends at this sad time.

History of the League:

The West Midlands Young Athlete Cross Country League started in 1975 with just a few local athletics clubs.

It has grown from just a few dozen athletes many years ago to around one thousand very competitive athletes, from a wide range of clubs all across Central England.
