Postcode: WS1 2QB View Course Map Directions to venue: WMYACCL - WALSALL ARBORETUM DIRECTIONS. Walsall Arboretum main carpark for the race is accessed from Broadway north (A4148) and is next to the Grange Playhouse. The post code is WS1 2QB. From junction 7 M6 head North down the A34 towards Walsall, reaching the A4148 in 2.4 km. Turn right along the A4148 to the post code (1.3km) then the entrance is on the right. From J10 M6 head East along the Bescot Rd towards Walsall, then at the first island take the 3rd exit along the A4148 for 4.2 km. to your destination. There is a large public carpark with hard surfacing, you will see the course in front of you if you stand with the public works depot on your right hand side. The tent area is approx. 300m. away. There is also a very small car park we would like to reserve for the use of officials and service vehicles. It is marginally closer to the tent area. If team managers would like to drop off tents there please contact Eddie Cockayne on (edcock@aol.com) There is on-street parking in the vicinity but please DO NOT park on Broadway North or on the large grass areas in front of the houses in Sutton road as these belong to the house owners and will jeopardise our chances of repeat events. The start and finish areas are quite close together so please follow guidance to avoid congestion at the finish. |
